Professional artistic mission

Ondinnok's current priorities are the urgent need to develop theatre within Aboriginal communities and the company's pursuit of its professional artistic mission, at home and abroad.

Theatre workshops :

Based on an approach dev eloped over the past fifteen vears, Ondinnok is working with the National Theatre School of Canada on a program adapted to the reality of Natives to foster the emergence of actors, authors and directors.

Theatre gives an opportunity to speak out and allows freedom of expression. Withdrawal offers no protection, only disintegration. It is crucial that we overcome our cultural and spiritual alienation. Theatre offers a fresh and curative approach to this process.
